Macy is one of my best friends and she wanted to do a film-only session to capture this sweet time in her life with her boyfriend, Johnny. I was driving by Wynn drive in Huntsville one day and spotted this gorgeous field with a big tree majestically standing tall in the middle of the field. I took a mental note that I wanted to photograph there sometime, so when Macy brought up the idea to do a session with Johnny, I mentioned this spot and it was perfect.
Funny enough, this was in mid-September when the weather can be quite unpredictable in Alabama. About an hour before their session, you wouldn’t know it, but it was storming like a hurricane was blowing though. It miraculously cleared up so we kept on with our plans. I’m so glad we did because it ended up being the perfect evening.
