about me

I believe I was made for this. Capturing the beauty of God's creation, sharing glimpses of His glory in both the every day moments and the big life celebrations. It's not just a job for me, it's not just about taking photos – it's so much more. It's the preservation of memories, evidence of a life well-lived and well-loved. My aim and heart-felt desire every time I pick up my camera is to document your moments honestly, joyfully, and filled with wonder. What a wonderful, beautiful, amazing life this is that we get to live. I can't wait to capture a glimpse of yours.

I started taking photos when my grandfather gave me his old camera when I was around 10 years old. It had just been a hobby for the most part, but I started to take it more seriously in high school, taking photos of friends, events, sports, and anything I could get in front of my lens. I got a degree in Interdisciplinary Studies in photography and marketing at the University of North Alabama. After doing it so long, I couldn’t imagine my life without photography. It brings me so much joy to capture people’s stories through photos!

I've been doing photography for 13 years

MY

authenticity

You don't have to perform in front of my camera. I believe that who you are is enough, and how you naturally interact with your loved ones is beautiful, and it is worth capturing the realness of it all. Real life and real moments will always be more important than a fake performance. When you look back at your photos I want them to feel like an honest and true representation of who you are.

vulnerability

True authenticity takes true vulnerability from the both of us. I will likely be photographing some of the most intimate moments of your lives and that takes an immense amount of empathy and tender understanding. I promise to be open and intentional with you. I truly want to be your friend and get to know you and your story!

honest documentation

What does taking an honest photo really mean? For me, it means leaning into the real moments over creating something staged. It means not shying away from the full range of emotions, from the ugly cries to belly laughs, and everything between. An honest photo is full of meaning, evidence of memories made and of you being completely yourself.
